Including needs is a way to support a Member to overcome financial barriers to care. Including needs on a Member profile allows our network of support to donate directly to the need. the Samaritan network of support includes individual donors, large gifts, and grants.

As a reminder, needs are not guaranteed and rely on charitable donations from our network of supporters. we do our absolute best to engage supporters to meet urgent needs as they arise.

Needs can be any barriers to care, life stressors, or progress overall. this might be the cost of transportation, clothing, food costs, application fees, and more. These needs are shared out to a community of supports who can donate towards the need. because needs rely on community contribution, larger needs may take additional time to fulfill.
